Having gone through a period of illness, I’ve come to realize deeply that my greatest joy is simply seeing my daughter healthy. It is her health that allows us to enjoy our everyday life, and I am reminded of that every single day.

Recently, I’ve also learned how much her interests and curiosity grow when she is surrounded by different environments, friends, and new experiences.

Last week, we went on our first family trip in a while, and despite being quite fearful by nature, she learned to snorkel in just one day all because she wanted to see a turtle. The moment she actually swam with the turtle was unforgettable and incredibly moving for us.
